This Appreciation Chart was compiled from the Austin Texas Board Of Realtors Data.
This data interpretation will not be found anywhere else! This is because the only way to determine appreciation rates is to take a sample of homes from each year and compare them to a sample of homes from the next year. The larger the sample the more accurate the results become. Accuracy also depends on comparing the same type of home. This type of analysis is quite difficult, incredibly time consuming and could be inaccurate if you are unfamiliar with the Real Estate market. The data is readily available but sampling homes and doing a detailed analysis of each individual area takes Norm Adams (Lead Buyer Specialist) hundreds of hours to analyze and interpret.
